On Saturday I embarked on a secret highly classfied mission to attend the Collectormania event in London and obtain Peter Firth's autograph.
Not only was this mission a success, but when I casually enquired as to whether he thought the BBC might commsion another year of the show, he told me that they were, it had been confirmed to him recently and he is due to start filming in February!
YES!!!
He also agreed with me that given the brilliance of the show it would only be right for the powers-that-be to give it a tenth as it is thoroughly deserving of a decade. By the sound of it if they did he would definitely want to be on board. Here's hoping that Harry Pearce will be protecting us for a good while yet.

Hey, hey, hey! Let's not hate "Heroes", some of us nerds LIKE that show!
Let's just say: Spooks is the best written show ever, bar none, we wish the BBC would spring for more than 8 episodes per series, we'd like the original number of 10 shows per series, and to make up for it, the BBC will give us at least 2 years of 14 episodes each!
Yeh, for SPOOKS... I thought 24 was fast moving and well performed but I must said SPOOKS has the best performance and the most intrigued...I can't wait when it surface...

is it just me...or was season 8 the worst season ever...there was just no real thrill in the episode, it never lived up to 7, and 7 was FANTASTIC !
Spooks is probably the best spy series ever produced,I am very happy that there will be a season 9
